What is APEDA Registration or APEDA RCMC Registration?
APEDA Registration, or Registration-Cum-Membership-Certification (RCMC), is granted by APEDA authorities to exporters of scheduled food products. Exporters must obtain RCMC membership to commence business with these products according to the guidelines.
Objectives of APEDA Registration
The objectives of APEDA Registration are to enhance the export of scheduled food products in the global market, focusing on:
Issuing registrations to exporters.
Supporting the development of industries related to scheduled food products.
Regulating standards and specifications for exports.
Improving packaging and marketing for better market reach.
Conducting training programs to develop the export industry.
Participating in food festivals to promote scheduled food items internationally.


Eligibility for APEDA Registration

Any individual or food business operator engaged in exporting food products listed under the First and Second Schedule of the APEDA Act is eligible for APEDA Registration. Exporters are expected to obtainAPEDA Registration within one month of their business incorporation.

Documents Required for APEDA Registration
To successfully register, the following documents are required :
Import-export code issued by the DGFT
Signed certificate from the bank
Statement of account for the last two months
Cancelled cheque
GST registration certificate
Duly signed APEDA Registration Form
Additional Documents Required for Manufacturer Exporters :
Central FSSAI Registration
DIS/SIA issued by the Department of Horticulture (if applicable)
Certificate of Incorporation (for partnerships, if required)
NOC from the pollution control board
MSME certificate (if applicable)
Halal certificate (if applicable)
