What is the UN Mark IIP Certification?

The UN Mark IIP Certification ensures that packaging used for hazardous goods is compliant with international standards for air and sea shipments. Packaging that qualifies for this certification must pass rigorous testing before it is approved for use. Once certified, the packaging is marked with a UN Mark to indicate its eligibility for transporting dangerous goods. This certification is valid for a limited period (up to 18 months), after which it must be renewed.

The UN Mark IIP Certification is issued to packaging manufacturers and is applicable to packaging for hazardous goods. This certification is critical for businesses involved in the global shipment of dangerous materials.
