This certification is valid for a limited period (up to 18 months), after which it must be renewed.

Procedure for UN Mark IIP Certification
Follow these steps to obtain the UN Mark IIP Certification:
Application:Submit an online application via the IIP portal, providing the necessary details and documents.
Payment: Make the required payment for processing your application on the portal.
Packaging Material Testing: Send a sample of the packaging material to IIP's testing labs in Mumbai or Chennai for examination.
Certificate Issuance: Once the sample passes the testing process, a UN Marking Number is generated, and the UN Mark IIP Certification is issued.
