Application Procedure for FSSAI Basic Registration
The process for obtaining FSSAI Basic Registration is simple and straightforward :
Submit Form-A along with a ₹100 registration fee.
Receive a unique application reference number.
The Registering Authority (RA) may accept or reject your application. Rejections will be communicated within seven days.
Upon acceptance, the Food Business Operator (FBO) can begin operations.
If required, the RA may issue an inspection notice.
Inspections are conducted within 30 days if necessary.
Once the inspection is successful, your FSSAI Basic Registration will be approved.
