India is not only the world's largest producer of cotton but also a key exporter of textile products. By 2029, the Indian textiles market is projected to surpass US$ 209 billion. During the crop year from October 2021 to September 2022, India produced 360.13 lakh bales of cotton. Despite global challenges, the country’s textile exports grew by 9% in FY21, highlighting the industry's resilience.
As a business in the textile industry, now is the perfect time to expand into international markets. BizMantra can help you obtain the Textile Export Promotion Council License (TEXPROCIL), ensuring you benefit from this massive opportunity.

The Textile Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL) is an organization established by the Government of India to support Indian textile exporters, including apparel exporters. As a registrant under the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC), you’ll gain access to international markets and participate in initiatives to promote Indian textile products globally. The TEXPROCIL license allows exporters to leverage government programs designed to boost exports.

Duty Drawback SchemeUnder the Duty Drawback Scheme, exporters receive refunds on customs duties paid on imported raw materials or machinery used for textile production. This refund applies when textiles are exported or used in the manufacture of exportable textile products.
Market Access Initiative (MAI) SchemeThe MAI Scheme supports long-term export promotion by assisting exporters, institutions, and trade organizations in entering new markets or expanding their presence in existing ones. It includes funding for trade fairs, market surveys, and more.
Market Development Assistance (MDA) SchemeThe MDA Scheme supports exporters through export promotion initiatives in specific markets such as Africa, CIS, ASEAN, and LAC regions. This scheme covers costs related to participation in international trade exhibitions and fairs.
